Action Group

We need you to come and join our Blue Sound Action Group to help tell more people about the marine life in the Sound. We meet every Wednesday night from 5 until 8pm at The Zone. Text Bex if you are interested 07943241928.

So far this year we have been busy working on a Snorkel Safari Guide and organised lots more marine activities like beach cleans, snorkels, marine movie nights, fishing, beach fires and planning nights.

I am a chilled out person. Someone recommended the Blue Sound Project to me because of my keen interest in the marine environment.

My favourite place is Sttttoooke beach.

I didn't like snorkelling at first, I mainly liked fishing but now I really want to go and find more things in under water.

I like getting in the water and seeing what's under there. I stay for the sausage rolls.

I joined the action group to do the fishing but then came for a snorkel and stayed.

I like snorkelling and fishing. I really like dolphins. I joined the Blue Sound in 2010

I love camping and snorkeling but I don't like seaweed!

I did my BSAC Snorkel Diver in the Summer and have been helping out since then. I like being outdoors and learning about marine life.

I have always loved and lived by the sea and used to go diving a lot but couldn't keep it up. Blue Sound has allowed me to re-explore the sea and surrounding waters.

I have been working on the Blue Sound project since March 2010 and loved learning more about the marine world and encouraging more people to discover the marine life of the sound.

I love BMX riding, fishing and horse riding. I am at school at the moment and love taking part in Blue Sound activities.

I love to go fishing and enjoy snorkeling. Bex invited me along to the Blue Sound Project and I have been a member since!

I am 18 and I am one of the instructors at the Zone. I am involved in Blue Sound because I love the water and anything to do with it.

I like doing Blue sound and always get in the water. There so much cool stuff to see especially the devils crab.

I think that we are so lucky to be surrounded by so much diverse natural beauty that exploring it is a must!
